Tampa Vet – Dr Uthaya Kumar
I am Dr. Uthaya Kumar, a Tampa Veterinarian, and owner of Oak Tree Animal Hospital here in Tampa FL.
I have been a veterinarian in the Tampa Bay area for over ten years. I actually graduated from Madras Veterinary College which is located in Chennai India. In the United States I furthered my education at Montana State University in Bozeman Montana where I completed a masters degree in veterinary medicine and molecular biology. Later, I moved to Tampa and also completed a one small animal clinical rotation at the University of Florida Veterinary College in Gainesville.
Since I always wanted to own my own veterinary hospital, I decided to work as an associate vet at another Tampa animal hospital to expand my experiences and eventually opened my own veterinary animal hospital here on Armenia Avenue. My passion is to provide professional and quality veterinary medical care for small animals but also at affordable fees. This is our goal at Oak Tree Animal Hospital.
